Terms of Service

Last updated: August 27, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using TogetherFunds AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of service

TogetherFunds AI is a household financial organization tool. It lets you and one other household member track bills, plan spending, scan receipts, connect bank accounts through Plaid, and discover receipts and bills through Gmail. The app provides recommendations and insights generated by AI. It does not move money, make payments, or act as a bank, lender, investment advisor, or tax preparer.

3. Account responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this app.
  • Keep your password, PIN, and device secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Provide accurate information when creating your household and connecting external accounts.
  • Do not share your sign-in credentials with people outside your household, and do not use the app for illegal or fraudulent purposes.

4. Household sharing

When you create a household, the other member you invite can see the household's shared financial data. Each user controls their own profile, PIN, and biometric settings. Be thoughtful about what you upload or enter, because shared data is visible to the other household member.

5. Authorized third-party connections

You may connect optional services such as Plaid and Gmail. You authorize us to access only the data and permissions you explicitly approve during each connection flow. You can revoke access at any time from Settings. If a connection expires or is revoked, related features such as bank syncing or Gmail receipt discovery will stop working until you reconnect.

6. Financial information and AI disclaimers

TogetherFunds AI is for organization and planning only. All balances, budgets, payoff plans, tax estimates, and AI-generated insights are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. We are not responsible for financial, tax, legal, or investment decisions you make based on the app.

7. Extraction accuracy limitations

Receipt scanning, Gmail parsing, and AI extraction can misread amounts, dates, merchants, or categories. Always review extracted data before relying on it for budgeting, tax records, or payment decisions.

8. No automatic payment authority

The app cannot and will not send payments, transfer funds, or initiate transactions on your behalf. Any payment must be made by you directly through your bank or the biller's payment system.

9. Third-party services

The app depends on third-party providers including Supabase/Lovable Cloud, Plaid, Google, and Google AI. Their terms, availability, and pricing may affect the app. We are not liable for outages, changes, or data practices of these providers beyond what we can reasonably control.

10. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or use it unlawfully. You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time by emailing support@togetherfunds.app.

11. Changes to service and terms

We may update the app, features, pricing, or these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
